Thousands attend outdoor worship at California Capitol
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The California Highway Patrol chose not to break up an outdoor worship service at the state Capitol on Sunday in part because it said it would have taken too long and required too many officers to safely disperse the roughly 3,000 people in attendance.
