NATIONAL SUMMARY

Showers and thunderstorms will impact Virginia, the

Carolinas, Georgia and Florida tomorrow. Rain and

thunderstorms are forecast from Michigan, southward to

Texas. Farther west, snow will begin to taper off in

Colorado. Dry weather will continue along the West coast.

High winds will contribute to an extreme fire threat in

Southern California. Unseasonably cold weather will be

endured in the wake of the snow in Wyoming and Colorado,

with some locations not getting out of the 30s F.

Temperatures along the West coast will be much lower than in

recent days, and even the Desert Southwest is forecast to

stay below the century mark. Warm and humid conditions are

expected in both the Northeast and Southeast, with

widespread 80s and some lower 90s.
