Shark kills surfer on Australia's Gold Coast tourist strip

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — A shark fatally mauled a surfer on Tuesday on Australia’s Gold Coast city tourist strip in a rare attack off a beach protected by shark netting, officials said.
