The Nation's Weather for Friday, September 4, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

A shower or thunderstorm could develop along a cold front

anywhere from West Virginia southwestward to Texas tomorrow,

but coverage should be spotty. A spotty afternoon

thunderstorm will be possible in the northern Florida

Peninsula. The balance of the nation will be dry. In the

wake of the cold front, much cooler and less humid

conditions are expected. High temperatures in northern

Minnesota, northern Wisconsin, northern Michigan and the

Adirondacks of New York are likely to only reach the 60s.

Meanwhile, high levels of humidity and temperatures in the

90s will continue in the Southeast. Heat will build in the

West with dry conditions. This will continue to enhance the

risk of wildfires.
