The Nation's Weather for Thursday, September 3, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers and thunderstorms along a cold front will dampen
areas from southeastern New England, southwestward to Texas
tomorrow. Some of the storms in southern Pennsylvania, West
Virginia and northern Virginia, will have the potential to
become strong. A few showers will cool northern Michigan. A
dry day is expected from the Rockies westward, as heat
begins to build for interior locations and the risk of
wildfires will continue. In the tropics, Nana is forecast to
make landfall as a hurricane in the country of Belize in
Central America. Meanwhile, Omar is forecast to weaken and
remain no threat to land as it will be passing several
hundred miles north and northeast of Bermuda before falling
