Everett police investigating fatal shooting in park

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Police in Everett are investigating after a man was shot and killed Monday afternoon.

KIRO-TV reports the shooting happened around 3:45 p.m. at Langus Riverfront Park, just west of I-5 and on the Snohomish River.

Police said they found the man dead at the scene.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as an SUV and fled after the shooting.
