The Nation's Weather
The Nation's Weather for Sunday, November 1, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold front will swing across the eastern half of the
United States tomorrow and allow chilly air to filter across
much of the nation. As a result of this front, snow showers
and even a few snow squalls will develop in the typical
lake-effect regions around the Great Lakes. Whiteout
conditions will be possible in any heavier snow squall.
Farther east, gusty showers will overspread much of the
Northeast and mid-Atlantic throughout the day. The
combination of wet weather and gusty winds may lead to
pockets of power outages from the Great Lakes to the East
Coast. Much of the rest of the nation will be dry, but
unseasonably chilly. High temperatures 5-10 degrees
Fahrenheit above normal will be common across the Plains and
the Rockies. The West Coast will remain warm.
