Train derails in southeast Texas, forcing evacuations

MAURICEVILLE, Texas (AP) — A freight train derailed Thursday in southeast Texas, prompting authorities to urge nearby residents to evacuate their homes as hazmat crews assessed the damage, the Orange County sheriff's office said.
