Letter: Tom Dent comes through for his constituents

I’m one of the millions of people that had problems getting their unemployment during this pandemic.

I would call the state office and get people on the other end that sounded like they knew what they were doing but I got nowhere. I was without pay for three-plus months.

Finally I got fed up and sent an email to the governor and my local representatives

Tom Dent and his staff were amazing. They called me the same day they got my information and called on my behalf. Thirty minutes after I hung up with Tom's staff member I received a call from the state and within 10 days I got all my unemployment.

I can’t thank Tom enough for all their help and support.
