NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain will depart the mid-Atlantic and New England coasts
tomorrow as colder, drier air moves into the Northeast.
Enough cold air may meet up with the back edge of
precipitation for a period of snowfall away from the coast.
Areas of the South cleaning up in the wake of Zeta will
have dry, sunny and cool weather. A few showers may dampen
far South Florida. High pressure will provide dry conditions
across the nation's midsection, with milder air expected to
return to the south-central Plains following a string of
cold days. A storm is expected to arrive in the Pacific
Northwest, bringing showers to lower elevations with snow
reserved for the highest peaks. The Southwestern states will
stay dry and sunny.
