Tanzanian opposition leader rejects presidential election

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — Tanzania’s leading opposition candidate has rejected Wednesday’s presidential vote after alleging widespread irregularities, saying on Thursday that whatever happened was not an election and was like “spitting in the face of democracy."
