Polish PM calls for stop to mass protests as pandemic rages
WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Poland’s prime minister appealed Thursday for a stop, amid a huge spike in the country’s coronavirus infections, to a week of angry protests against a high court ruling that tightens already strict abortion laws.
