DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — In a story October 28, 2020, about Iowa hospitals seeing a surge of coronavirus patients, The Associated Press erroneously reported in the story summary that a record 596 patients were being treated Thursday. That was the number of virus patients being treated in hospitals on Wednesday.
