Iran parliament speaker contracts virus as deaths surge

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s parliament speaker said that he has tested positive for the coronavirus, joining a growing list of infected Iranian officials as the country again shattered its single-day death record with 415 new fatalities reported Wednesday.
