Oct. 22

Officers responded to the 900 block of East Lark Avenue for a report of a car prowling in which a number of items were stolen sometime overnight.

Officers responded to the 600 block of North Mississippi Drive for a report of a juvenile who threw a water bottle at a woman and punched her in the arm.

Officers responded to the 800 block of South Fairbanks Drive for a report of a car prowling in which unspecified items were stolen.

Officers responded to the area of West Lakeside Drive and South Milwaukee Avenue for a report of a man and his grandson who found a bag of meth while they were fishing.

Officers responded to the Heron Creek Apartments for a report of a car prowling in which a number of clothing items were stolen.

Oct. 23

Officers responded to the 1400 block of North Buell Street for a reported suicide attempt, in which a juvenile had begun to hang himself when he was discovered by his sister. He then ran away and could not be located by officers.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of East Wheeler Road for a report of a stolen U-Haul truck that was later recovered.

Oct. 24

Officers responded to the 1400 block of East Crossroads Drive for a report of a car prowling in which a pistol and wallet were stolen.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of West Peninsula Drive for a report of a homemade sticker placed on the victim’s vehicle that said “I raped your kids.” The victim’s children were involved in a sexual assault in 2018.

Officers responded to the area of East Broadway Avenue and South Alder Street for a report of a syringe needle found which police threw away.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of West Electra Street for a report of two subwoofers stolen from a resident’s driveway.

Officers responded to Harbor Freight for a report of an unknown subject who vandalized a campaign sign.

Oct. 25

Officers responded to the 600 block of South Lake Avenue for a report of an unknown male that rode up to a residence on a BMX bike early Sunday morning and stole a pair of boots off the porch.
