Second half 2020 tax bills due Nov. 2
EPHRATA — Grant County Treasurer Darryl Pheasant wants to remind all county taxpayers that second-half tax payments are due on Monday, Nov. 2.
Normally, the second-half tax payments would be due on Oct. 31. However, in a press release, Pheasant said that because Oct. 31 is a Saturday this year, the second-half tax payments must be postmarked or made by the following Monday to avoid being considered delinquent.
Pheasant encouraged all taxpayers to use the coupons that come with their tax bills.
Payments can be made by mail, online at www.grantcountywa.gov under the treasurer’s tab, at the drop box outside the county courthouse in Ephrata, or in person in the treasurer’s office.
However, Pheasant also said that because of the ongoing installation of protective equipment, his office might not be open to the public.
“There will also be a drop box in our office lobby if the lobby does open up to the public,” Pheasant said in a press release.
