State board OKs bachelor's degree at Big Bend
MOSES LAKE — Big Bend Community College will soon offer an applied bachelor's degree, a first for the Moses Lake-based college.
The State Board of Community and Technical Colleges gave BBCC approval to begin offering the degree, according to a press release. Big Bend will launch the program in fall 2021.
“I am very pleased that the State Board has been so supportive of Big Bend’s proposal to offer a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management,” said BBCC Vice President of Learning and Student Success Bryce Humpherys in a press release. “The new bachelor’s degree will meet the needs of local employers for educated job applicants and the needs of our students for a local bachelor’s degree option.”
