EU takes action against Malta, Cyprus for 'golden passports'
BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Commission launched infringements procedures Tuesday against Cyprus and Malta over their “golden passport” programs, in which wealthy people can acquire EU citizenship in exchange for an investment.
