Turkish Cypriot hardliner beats leftist in leadership runoff
NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) — A hardliner who favors even closer ties with Turkey and a tougher stance with rival Greek Cypriots in peace talks has defeated the leftist incumbent in the Turkish Cypriot leadership runoff Sunday.
