MOSES LAKE — Since last Thursday, 107 cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Grant County, according to Grant County Health District.

The county total of cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began reached 3,346. State officials reported Wednesday that 164 local residents have been hospitalized since the pandemic began. Sixteen people with the virus are currently hospitalized, according to the health district.

While the county still has one of the highest rates of infection in the state, Grant County’s rate of infection has steeply declined in recent weeks, from 415 on Sept. 24 to Monday’s 223 cases per 100,000 people over the last two weeks.

In Adams County, the cases totaled 908 as of Thursday, an increase of 16 from the previous Thursday total, according to information from Adams County Health Department. Eight hundred seven positive cases have recovered, and four are hospitalized.
