President of Kyrgyzstan steps down amid election turmoil

MOSCOW (AP) — Kyrgyzstan President Sooronbai Jeenbekov announced his resignation on Thursday in a bid to end the turmoil that has engulfed the Central Asian nation after a disputed parliamentary election.
