Nancy B. Carvo-Kanoff

December 1, 1951 – October 5, 2020

Nancy Carvo-Kanoff went to be with Our Lord and Savior on Oct. 5, 2020. Her sons Christopher and Matthew were with her at her home when she suddenly took ill, and at the hospital when she passed.

Nancy was born on Dec. 1, 1951, daughter of Emery and Barbara Carvo in Yakima, Washington. She was the fourth child of nine. In 1955 the family moved to Moses Lake, Washington. Nancy graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1970 and attended Washington State University.

Nancy married in 1973 and she moved to Waipahu, Hawaii for thee years, where she gave birth to her first son, Christopher Kanoff. In 1976, Nancy moved back to the continental U.S. where she lived in Okanogan, Washington, and her second son Matthew Kanoff was born. Nancy moved back to Moses Lake, Washington, where she resided for the remainder of her life. Nancy worked at REC in Quality Control until her retirement.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Barbara and Emery Carvo, her sister Janis Carvo, her brother-in-law Dwight Du Vall, and her nephew Justin Carvo.

Nancy is survived by her sons Christopher Kanoff and his wife Tanya and Matthew Kanoff and his wife Andrea, and her five grandchildren Maiya, Kyia, Swayze, Piper and Olivia, as well as an extensive extended family. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
