The Nation's Weather for Thursday, October 15, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold front will spread a band of light rain showers across
portions of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio tomorrow. Those
showers may reach western New York by the end of the day. A
few thunderstorms will rumble across South Florida. A spotty
shower or two could dampen eastern Montana, eastern Wyoming,
the western Dakotas and western Nebraska. Some snowflakes
may mix in over the highest elevations in Montana. Strong
winds will buffet many areas of the northern Plains and
Midwest, resulting in a chilly day despite some sunshine.
Elsewhere, summer will continue to hang on in the West, with
90s over the valleys of Central California with the mercury
once again soaring over the century mark in the deserts of
southeastern California.
