Liverpool, United in EPL power grab with lower-league plan

LONDON (AP) — The Premier League on Sunday criticized moves by American-owned Liverpool and Manchester United to gain more control over decision-making while promising more funds for the lower divisions with proposals to reduce the size of the topflight to 18 teams.
