NATIONAL SUMMARY

Delta will continue to move inland tomorrow. While winds

will not be as strong as it moves farther north, flooding

rainfall will occur and isolated tornadoes can spin up to

the south and east of the center. Elsewhere, afternoon

showers will dampen interior New England and upstate New

York. Much-needed rain will soak the coast of the Pacific

Northwest, with lighter rain in eastern Washington and

Oregon. Some snow can even fall in the highest elevations of

the Washington Cascades. Heavy rain can also fall in

northern and western Idaho, with some snow at the highest

peaks there as well. Unseasonably high temperatures will

bake West Texas, where some record highs will be possible.
