NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm system and associated cold front push through the
Northeast tomorrow, showers and thunderstorms are in store
from Maine to portions of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Behind this front, cooler air will filter in from the Great
Lakes to the Northeast. Farther south, powerful Hurricane
Delta will churn over the Gulf of Mexico. The outer
rainbands of Delta will begin to sweep over the Gulf Coast
from Texas to Florida. Delta is set to slam into Louisiana
late this week. Much of the Central and Western states will
remain warm and dry ahead of a significant pattern change
later this week. The immediate West Coast will be the
exception, with cooler air expected.
