NATIONAL SUMMARY
A strengthening storm system will move into the Mid-Atlantic
tomorrow, bringing severe thunderstorms to the Atlantic
Coast from North Carolina to New York. The main effects
from this system will be gusty winds, especially along the
East Coast as well as across the Great Lakes, causing
lakeshore flooding. On the eastern end of this storm, snow
will impact the Midwest, with the heaviest snow falling in
southern Michigan and northern Indiana. Highest new
accumulations during the day tomorrow will be up to four
inches. Rain and a mix of snow and rain will fall between
snow and thunderstorms tomorrow in the Northeast. In the
Northwest, a cold front will bring rain and showers to
lower elevations, with snow in the Cascades. High pressure
will reign elsewhere, keeping conditions sunny and fair.
