The Nation's Weather for Friday, November 27, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A mild day is expected across the Northeast tomorrow with
high temperatures in the 50s and lower 60s, about 5-10
degrees Fahrenheit above average. Much of the day will be
rain-free with sunshine, although very spotty showers
cannot be ruled out across the interior. Rain and
thunderstorms are likely to gather from south-central Texas
through Louisiana, Mississippi and southern Alabama as a
storm system begins to develop and taps into tropical
moisture. Some of the rainfall can be heavy enough to
trigger incidents of flash flooding. Cool air will spill
across the southern Plains as some snow whitens the high
terrain of northeastern Arizona, southwestern Colorado and
northern New Mexico. Much of the rest of the country will be
dry as gusty winds continue in Southern California.
