Marsh stepping down as Senate pro tempore, Reed nominated
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Longtime Senate President Pro Tempore Del Marsh is stepping down from his leadership position, saying he wants to devote his final two years in Montgomery to education issues.
