NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm system will begin to take shape across the
center of the country tomorrow. This system will bring a
mixed bag of weather hazards to a majority of the Central
states. Severe thunderstorms will erupt in the afternoon
across portions of Texas and Oklahoma and push northeastward
into the overnight. Meanwhile, rain will spread from the
southern Plains, north into portions of the Great Lakes.
Snow will blanket portions of the Upper Midwest and
Colorado. Another storm system will approach the Northwest
and bring rain and high-elevation snow by the afternoon.
Farther east, the Northeast and mid-Atlantic will be largely
dry, but unseasonably chilly.
