The Nation's Weather for Sunday, November 22, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm system will strengthen and bring wet weather to much
of the eastern half of the United States tomorrow. Rain will
stretch from southeastern New Mexico through Arkansas and
into portions of Pennsylvania and New York. A few rumbles of
thunder are likely in northeastern Texas. On the cold side
of this system, a mix of rain and snow will make for sloppy
conditions from northern Illinois through southern Michigan
and into western New York. This wintry mix can lead to
travel disruptions across parts of the Great Lakes. A
separate system will bring periods of snow to Minnesota.
High pressure will settle over the North Central states,
while much of the West also remains dry. A storm system will
push into the Northwest late and kick off another round of
rain and mountain snow.
