Keep gatherings small

As the mayor of Moses Lake and a local physician, I am asking for your help. The increasing COVID-19 cases will overwhelm our local medical facilities if we do not act now. We must continue to be proactive and reduce indoor gatherings with people outside our households.

On Thanksgiving, please keep your holiday gathering to a minimum by gathering only with people who live with you. I know this is a hard request because Thanksgiving is traditionally a time to gather with extended family and friends. We all wish the circumstances were different.

Making difficult choices now will help save lives. Thank you for making this sacrifice.
