_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers will dampen the Outer Banks as Eta pushes into the
Atlantic tomorrow. Occasional rain and drizzle will fall in
eastern New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. In
northern Maine, it may be cold enough for some snowflakes to
mix in with the rain. In the Pacific Northwest, a strong
storm will slam into the region with very strong winds,
drenching rain along the coast of Washington, Oregon and
Northern California and heavy snow in the Cascades and in
northern Idaho. In the wake of a cold front, the recent
