NATIONAL SUMMARY

Tropical moisture and a cold front will bring rain along the

Eastern Seaboard from Massachusetts to Virginia tomorrow.

Farther south, thunderstorms are forecast to rumble in the

Carolinas and Georgia. Eta will approach the western Florida

Peninsula, with the potential to deliver drenching

downpours. Meanwhile, light snow could fall in southwestern,

central and northeastern Minnesota. The snow will also

extend into northwestern Wisconsin. However, any

accumulations are expected to be minimal. Elsewhere, a storm

will approach the coasts of Washington, Oregon and Northern

California, with the potential to deliver soaking rain,

strong winds and heavy mountain snow very late in the day

and at night.
