Republican Garrity claims victory in state treasurer's race

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Republican Stacy Garrity, a retired U.S. Army Reserves colonel who is vice president of a tungsten smelting plant, claimed victory Tuesday in the Pennsylvania state treasurer's race.
