The Associated Press will not be covering Wednesday’s CMA Awards due to restrictions that have been placed on still photographers and screen captures of the broadcast. Organizers have limited photographer access inside the venue and will only grant permission for screen captures if images of attendees shown on the broadcast are not made. The AP will not agree to such a restriction on a publicly-broadcast event, and will not move coverage of the show in any format.
