Statewide mask mandate goes into effect amid virus surge
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Deeply conservative Utah began a major shift in fighting the coronavirus pandemic Monday, implementing a statewide mask mandate for the first time and planning a dramatic increase in testing.
