The Nation's Weather for Saturday, November 7, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

A strengthening storm system in the West will bring strong

winds, low-elevation rain and mountain snow tomorrow. A

brisk wind off the Atlantic will produce rough seas, rip

currents and spotty showers from Florida to the Carolina

coast. As Eta moves northward through the northwestward

Caribbean Sea, steadier and locally heavy rain will spread

across South Florida and the Florida Keys. A mostly sunny

sky is expected from Illinois to New Jersey. Much of the

nation will experience temperatures well above normal. The

exception will be cold air plunging into the West. Even the

Desert Southwest is expected to have lower temperatures,

following several days of record-breaking heat in some

locations.
