The Nation's Weather for Thursday, November 5, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

Much of the country will be dry and sunny tomorrow. The

exceptions will be Washington state, northwestern Oregon and

northern Idaho, as a storm moves in from the Pacific. A

breeze from the Atlantic can produce showers in South

Florida. Other than the Pacific Northwest, where

temperatures will be near normal for early November, the

rest of the nation is likely to experience temperatures

above average. In the Desert Southwest, unseasonable warmth

is expected, and record-high temperatures will be tied or

broken in many locations. Meanwhile, Eta will continue to be

slow moving and will bring torrential rain and the risk of

life-threatening flooding and mudslides to Central America.
