U.S. Rep. Dan Newhouse appears to have won re-election to Congress, obtaining a clear lead Tuesday night over his Democratic opponent, Douglas McKinley. As of last count Tuesday night, Newhouse led McKinley by just over 60,000 votes, a lead of more than 30 percentage points.

Newhouse represents Washington’s 4th Congressional District, which incorporates Grant, Adams, Benton, Franklin, Yakima, Douglas and Okanogan counties.
