NATIONAL SUMMARY

The nation will remain in a very tranquil pattern for early

November tomorrow, with no major storms, heavy rain or snow

expected. After the chilly start to the week in the

Northeast, conditions will turn milder with highs returning

to the 50s and 60s F for most. It will still remain a bit

chilly in New England before the mild air overtakes the area

by Thursday. Pleasant conditions are forecast across the

Southern states with abundant sunshine. An onshore flow may

bring very spotty showers and a gusty breeze to the East

coast of Florida. Warm air will stretch from the Southwest

to the Plains and the Upper Midwest as highs soar 10-20

degrees Fahrenheit above average amid dry weather and

sunshine. The Pacific Northwest and northern Rockies will be

an exception to the dry weather with a few showers expected.
