Democrat Sanford Bishop wins 15th term in southwest Georgia

ATLANTA (AP) — Some Republicans won election to Congress from Georgia amid the most competitive election in the state in decades. Marjorie Taylor Greene won election unopposed after expressing racist views and support for QAnon conspiracy theories, while gun dealer Andrew Clyde also won an open seat. Three incumbent GOP representatives — Drew Ferguson, Austin Scott and Jody Hice — won new terms, as did Democrat Sanford Bishop.
