The Nation's Weather for Monday, November 2, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow will continue to fall across portions of the
northeastern United States tomorrow as a storm system
pushes northeastward, out of Maine. While most snowfall
across the Northeast will end early, a few areas downwind
of Lakes Erie and Ontario will continue to receive snow
squalls throughout the day. In the heaviest squalls,
whiteout conditions are possible. In addition, gusty winds
will bring the potential for wind damage and localized
power outages to the Northeast and mid-Atlantic. The rest
of the country will remain dry as high pressure maintains
its grip on the nation. Cool air will settle across the
eastern third of the U.S. while warmth surges across the
Central states. Unseasonable warmth will continue to ramp
up across the Southwest.
