NATIONAL SUMMARY

A cold front will stretch across much of the Eastern states

tomorrow and ignite showers and thunderstorms from the

Northeast to the Southeast. Humid conditions will remain in

place across the area ahead of the front. Summerlike

temperatures will persist across northern New England. Dry

and pleasant conditions are in store for the Plains as high

pressure begins to build over the area. Heat will continue

to expand across the Western states as dry conditions

persist. High temperature records will be challenged across

portions of Nevada, Utah and Arizona. A few showers and

thunderstorms will bring wet weather to portions of the

central and southern Rockies tomorrow evening.
