NATIONAL SUMMARY
Warmth will build across the Northeast tomorrow, with
temperatures possibly reaching record-high levels in parts
of New York state and New England. Mainly dry conditions are
also in store, as the main corridor of stormy weather will
remain focused on the Central and Southern states. Showers
and locally heavy storms are forecast to stretch from the
upper Great Lakes through the Mississippi Valley and into the
southern Plains. The risk of flash flooding will be highest
across the soaked South Central states. Downpours will
slowly pull away from Florida as a disturbance moves over
the Atlantic Ocean. Spotty showers and storms are expected
to fire up over the northern Rockies. The balance of the
West will be dry with intense heat building in the
Southwest.
