Soap Lake yard waste, garbage bins ready

SOAP LAKE — Soap Lake residents looking to dispose of yard waste and garbage may use the containers at the new recycling center at Second Avenue SW in the Public Works Yard as part of the city’s community clean-up from May 15 to June 15.

The information provided by Soap Lake For Locals stressed that the trash bins are for yard waste and garbage only; concrete, rocks, dirt, car parts or hazardous materials are not allowed. Appliances can be picked up by the city.
