Cascade Organic Flour makes second donation
ROYAL CITY — Cascade Organic Flour, of Royal City, has made a second donation of whole wheat flour to Washington food banks. So far, the mill has donated a total of 42 tons of flour, according to a press release from Monday, May 11.
Cascade Organic Flour made the first donation to Second Harvest in Spokane in April. The second donation was made on May 7 to 2nd Harvest in the Tri-Cities.
“Cascade Organic Flour is pleased to be able to donate another truckload of our flour to 2nd Harvest, as we know the demands on food banks are continuing to increase during these challenging times, and we want to make a significant and sustained effort to respond to help those in need,” said Justin Brown, owner and CEO of Cascade Organic Flour, in the press release.
The flour will be distributed to food banks all across eastern Washington.
