Downtown Moses Lake Association starts grant program

| May 10, 2020 11:56 PM

MOSES LAKE — A thriving downtown is essential to any healthy community. That’s why the Downtown Moses Lake Association has initiated a grant program to help downtown Moses Lake businesses significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a press release.

The association has committed $10,000 of its own funds to the grant program. The sum is not a lot when there are more than 200 businesses in the downtown area, but the association says it’s a start and could be the difference between a business reopening or closing forever. The association is looking for community support to help save the downtown business district. A generous donation will increase the pool of funding and help businesses make it through this challenging time. To donate, visit downtownmoseslakegrant.com or contact the association director, Brandon Nicholas, at [email protected] or 509-770-1700.

Business owners in the downtown Moses Lake district can find more information at downtownmoseslakegrant.com. The deadline to apply for a grant is May 25.
