Coronavirus: Two new cases

MOSES LAKE — Grant County Health District on Thursday said two new cases of COVID-19 in Grant County had been reported, putting the number of positive cases in the county at 184.

There were 35 probable cases and 74 tests still pending results. Nine people sickened with the novel coronavirus are hospitalized while 71 people have recovered, the GCHD reported Thursday.

As of Thursday, Quincy had 68 confirmed cases, Moses Lake had 36, and the Mattawa area had 42. Ephrata had 16 confirmed cases, and Royal City had 12, while Warden and Soap Lake each reported four.

In addition to tests that have come back positive, 1,908 have come back negative.
