Coronavirus: No new Grant County Cases again

MOSES LAKE — For the third day in a row, no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Grant County, according to Grant County Health District.

The running total of positive cases in the county held at 182.

According to the health district, there were 35 probable cases and 106 tests still pending results. Nine people sickened with the novel coronavirus are hospitalized while 71 people have recovered.

As of Wednesday, Quincy still had 68 confirmed cases, Moses Lake had 34 and the Mattawa area had 42.

Ephrata’s total was 16 confirmed cases, and Royal City’s was 12. Warden and Soap Lake each had four, and the Grant County portion of the Othello area had a single case, as did the Grand Coulee/Electric City area.

Of those confirmed to have been infected with the novel coronavirus, 79 are men and 103 are women.

Besides tests that have come back positive, 1,840 have come back negative.
